Description of current research and/or professional activities:
Through my interaction with Cooperative Extension and the Institute on Disabilities, I have the opportunity to interact with a variety of populations whose nutritional and educational needs vary widely. Much of my work has centered around child and adolescent nutrition behaviors and nutrition education modalities to bring about changes in these behaviors.
Additional Information:
In addition to teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, I am Director of the ADA Dietetics program and the core faculty member for the UNH-Dartmouth LEND program, a leadership training program for healthcare professionals who want to specialize in the care of children with neurodevelopmental disabilities. I am currently a member of the State of NH Licensing Board of Dietitians and Dietitian for the Center for Health Enhancement.
