The department of Animal and Nutritional Sciences is a large and diverse department with programs in preveterinary medicine, bioscience and technology, nutrition, dietetics, dairy management, equine studies and medical laboratory sciences. Our faculty includes board certified veterinarians, and both certified medical technologists and dietitians, as well as highly trained and experienced people in each of our areas of specialty. We have farm facilities for teaching and research as well as extensive laboratory facilities and we strongly encourage students to collaborate with faculty and staff in the use of our resources. All of our courses are taught by faculty and all faculty serve as advisors to undergraduates. We take great pride in the many ways we engage with our students in learning and in the ways we allow students to apply what they have learned. Our success is reflected in the success and satisfaction of our graduates.
